Lunch boxes and water jugs: Thailand's rules for plastic food containers

No product licence, but every item must pass tests that depend on its plastic. The grace period for older products ended in June 2025.

Plastic containers and utensils that touch food or drink must meet the Ministry of Public Health Notification No. 435 (2022). It took effect on 18 June 2022 with a 3-year grace period for older products, which ended in June 2025.
