Plastic containers and utensils that touch food or drink must meet the Ministry of Public Health Notification No. 435 (2022). It took effect on 18 June 2022 with a 3-year grace period for older products, which ended in June 2025.

What to prepare
- The material of every part touching food: body, lid, seal, spout, straw
- Virgin or recycled, coloured or not, and the intended use (hot food, microwave, dishwasher)
- Existing test reports and the resin supplier's food-contact declaration
Silicone seals, stainless steel and glass parts follow their own rules, not Notification 435.
