The guideline covers 29 industry groups, from paper and construction to plastics, electronics, textiles and printing inks. Chemicals used in these processes, or as raw materials for other products such as cosmetics, are not FDA hazardous substances; other agencies, mainly the Department of Industrial Works, may apply.
Still regulated by Thai FDA
- Cleaning or disinfecting equipment and containers that touch food or drink, including in factories
- Raw materials for pest-control products
- General floor cleaning in premises
